Chinchillas need to have a large cage because they love to jump around. They need to be in an area that isn't warmer than 78 degrees. These guys do not get regular bathes like dogs, you must provide them with volcanic ash which they will roll around in themseleves. The dust will soak up all the oil from their skin. Hay, pellets, or dried fruit are best to feed your chinchilla.
